Salterbeck 0
Seaton 40
Seaton
strolled through to
the semi finals of
the amateur cup and
a tie away to
Hensingham with a
comprehensive
victory over a
salterbeck side that
tried for the full
80 minutes but
couldnt make the
vital passes stick.
The first try of the
game came when the
storm fullback made
a hash of a last
tackle George kick
and Highton
collected to run 40
metres to go under
the posts. Brett
Phillips converted
and went onto only
miss one kick all
game despite getting
difficult positions.
Further tries were
added to before half
time when firstly
Shaun Johnsen got on
the end of a Callum
Phillips grubber
kick by the posts
and then the
outstanding Lee
Hunter simply
trampled his
opposite number to
score. At 18 nil up
Seaton were able to
relax and the second
half became a
procession with
further tries added
by Higton again,
Brett Phillips, Paul
Rooke and Tom Curwen

Hodgson and Lee
Hunter
