Seaton Rugby League Club Match Report

Seaton Rangers 44    Hensingham 0

Seaton moved further clear at the top of the table with a convincing win over an enthusaiastic Hensngham side that simply found the pressure applied to it by the Seaton defence far too much to contain. Seaton went in at the interval with a twenty two nil lead on the back of excellant work by Brett Phillips playing at prop again stating his claim to be the best forward if not player plying his trade in the cumberland league and went onto pull clear the only concern for Seaton being a poor completion rate which meant that they had to defend more than they would have liked to. Tries were scored by Callum Phillips 2, Richard George 2, Chris Highton, Mark Routledge, Andy McGlasson and Paul Lowery to make it two tries in two games after ending his try drought the week before. In addition to Brett Phillips who also added six goals, Tom Curwen was outstanding in the centre berth
