A lot has changed at Seaton Rangers on the Youth Section for 2010 ahead of the switch to the summer season for all age groups in 2011. The biggest change has been the departure from the club of Geoff Symes who in his three years was responsible for setting up the clubs youth section and ensuring that it has produced some fantastically talented players for the clubs open age section and also to the professional game. What Geoff done was time consuming and draining and has set the club in great stead for the future. All at the club would like to thank Geoff for all his contributions both as an administrator and as a coach and he would certainly be welcome back at any time in the future. As a result a new committee has been formed led by John Banks in the role of seceretary and Kevin Moss as the treasurer, with the assistance of Alan Wedgwood, John Boughey, Malcolm Allison, Graham Brown, Stephen Brown. The club continues to run several teams with the u8s enjoying an excellent season with 20 players signed on from ages 6 to 8 all getting plenty of game time in a safe environment. The u9s under the coaching of Kevin Moss have come on leaps and bounds and have been playing some tremendous rugby league, whilst the u11s under the guidance of John Banks managed to go through there whole season unbeaten and the u12s finished third in a high quality league and as they develop they are sure to have more future success.

All involved in the club would like to thank the coaches and volunteers for all there help making it possible and also the parents who have been supportive of the club and there children and also the players who have been a credit to the club with there performances on the field and most importantly there behaviour off the field. As a club our aim is quite simply to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn the skills of rugby league under the guidance of our qualified coaches. We strongly believe that if they are coached properly and well looked after the children will perform to the best of there ability and performance will inevitably follow. Winning is important but not as important as the qualities of dedication, friendship, loyalty, and discipline

We would like to thank all of our various sponsors for there assistance over the course of the year and the various different agencies for there support with grant assistance. If you would like to be involved with Seaton Rangers ARLFC or have a child that would like to play rugby league then we as a club welcome everybody irrespective or sexuality, age, race or gender and would be glad to hear from you as the success story of our youth section continues to grow and grow

The future of Rugby League has never looked brighter.
