Wath Brow Hornets held an end of season rugby festival featuring six teams including Glasson Rangers, Seaton Rangers, Lowca, Kells and two Hornet teams, all of which produced some fabulous open rugby. Seaton Rangers went through their matches undefeated with superb performances from Dan Monkhouse, Dan Davies, Greg Benson and Brandon Renny. Although they lost the services of the outstanding Gary Hunter, Greg Kerr and later Dan Monkhouse through injury, Seaton still had enough quality in their squad which included a total of eight tries for Billy Southward, five tries each for Nathan Postlethwaite and Kieran Mewes, two for Ellis Mewes and tries each for Greg Benson, Jack Parker, Dan Davies, Brandon Renny and Jon Carl Bryan.Man of the tournement, Nathan Postlethwaite was outstanding in both attack and defence. A well organised event thouroughly enjoyed by the young players and spectators.
