Seaton Under 11s Match Report

Seaton A U11s 30 v Glasson U11s 24

A total of nine tries were scored in this thrilling game which was end to
end from start to finish.
Seaton started the scoring when stand off Domonic Smallwood darted through
from 10 yards out, Kieran Mewes added the conversion. After good play from
rampaging forward Stuart Gallacher, Ellis Mewes went over from 30 yards with
Mewes adding the conversion. Glasson responded well with two quality tries
from big Connor Fitzsimmons of which he converted himself.
An oportunist try from Seaton centre, Jack Parker, was quickly followed by
another Glasson try which tied the teams level 18-18 at the interval.
Seaton started the second half with a second score for Ellis Mewes following
a 70 yard run for a spectacular try, Smallwood then darted in for another
score almost identical to his first and with a Mewes conversion gave Seaton
a 30-18 lead. After good work from Demi Fisher, Glasson got back on the
score sheet and went all out for a try that would level the game. Ferocious
Seaton tackling from man of the match, Smallwood, Jon Carl Bryan and Jack
Earl ensured that Glasson would be denied the equaliser in what was a very
competitive game. Final score Seaton 30 Glasson 24
