4 V Seaton
Rangers 26 Seaton
produced one of their best results of the season playing 90% of the
match with only 12 men. Scott Rooke picked the ball up on his own line
to go
the full length of the pitch, Tom Walker kicked the goal.
Egremont made the best of the wet conditions, great handling saw them go
in
at the corner. Seatons forward Liam Hall had to leave the pitch with a
head
injury.
Tom Walker created and scored Seatons next try, with a kick and race
over
the home defence, Walker converted it. Seatons backs Jake Dixon, Gareth
Harkness, Bradley Lawrence and Keiran Irving tackled themselves into the
ground as
Egremont tried to spread the ball out wide.
Jack Williamson took a quick tap on Egremonts 20 metre line, off loaded
to
second rower Lee Williams who powered over. Tony Quinn clinched Seatons
win
with two trys running from his own half with half the Egremont team
chasing him
Walker slotted over the 2 points.
Seatons coaches and parents gave the young rangers team a standing
ovation
off the pitch. |
