A powerful second half, sent Hensingham through to the final of the Cumbria cup.
Seaton opened up a 6 – 0 lead when loose forward Tom Walker burst onto Tony Quinns off load, to race 20 metres to score. Walker added the conversion in hot conditions and on a hard pitch the host stepped up a gear.
Hensingham scored 18 unanswered points before half time, with some great passing in their back line.
Hensingham built on their lead with an 8 point penalty try.
Seaton’s heads never dropped with Scott Rooke latching onto a Boston Taylor pass, then raced 30 metres to score his second, Tom Walker adding the 2 points.
Hensingham wrapped up the game with another 8 points try and double conversion.
Seaton’s Jack Williamson, Lee Williams, Scott Rooke, Tom Walker didn’t deserve to be on the losing side, with outstanding performances.
