Kells 0 v Seaton 16 Seaton produced their best
performance of the season when over coming a well organised Kells outfit
on a very warm evening. Defence was always going to be the winning
factor in these two evenly matched sides and so it proved with
inspirational Kieran Mewes making his come back and leading the way for
the Seaton Defence. Seaton had the advantage of the pitch slope in the
first half and used it well, keeping Kells pinned in their own 20 for
long periods, the Kells tackling proved up to the task until a loose
carried resulted in a dropped ball which was scooped upon by Billy
Southward who went unopposed under the posts, Mewes added the
conversion. The match stopped that way giving Seaton a slender 0-6
advantage at half time. |
