Seaton 30 v G E W 16
Scott
Rooke made the headlines with 4 tries for Seaton against a combined
Glasson, Elbra, Wigton side. Rooke scored 3 quick tries to get Seaton on
their
way, the second after a quick play the ball by Dean Kilgour. GEW never
gave in
with their forwards laying the platform. Seaton prop Lee Williams burst
through in the corner after a break from Jake Dixon. Tom Walker added
the
extras on 2 of the tries. Seaton led 20-8 at half time in front of a
large
home support. It was nip and tuck in the second half until Rooke raced
through from his own half. GEW never gave in and went up the other end
to
produce a great team try. The last word was with Seatons Tom Walker who
side
stepped the defence to score under the posts then added the conversion.
