Seaton came out on top in their first game of the season against Flimby in an entertaining game despite the conditions which made it impossible to play flowing rugby. Seaton led 8-0 at half time courtesy of 2 tries by big prop Tanty Burridge. Flimby replied straight after half time with a length of the field effort by their winger to pull the score back to 8-6. Seaton hit straight back with a try for Logan Barker which was goaled by Kurtis Gregory to make it 14-6 and that was how it stayed until the final whistle. As well as Burridge, second row Luke Scott and centre Lewis Mason had top games for Seaton.
