| Kells
44 Seaton 12.
Kells began this cup game very
well and completely dominated the first quarter in every department.
Seaton found themselves 18-0 down in as many minutes before their best
player on the day Joe Langcake gave them a chance scoring a try by the
sticks which Stephen Clarke converted. Just before the break Kells
scored again to lead 24-6.Seaton began the second half a little better
but they just could not get any decent field position and Kells scored a
couple of quick tries to seal the game. Stephen Newell gave Seaton a bit
of pride back scoring out wide with Clarke adding the conversion. A
mistake from the restart gave Kells possession and once again they
punished Seaton. A final try by Kells gave them a well deserved victory
and on this evidence it will take a good side to beat them. |
