Seaton 18    Egremont 10

Seaton put up a good performance to win their final league game of the season. In an exciting game Seaton broke the deadlock when Scott Rooke scooted from acting half back 20m out to score ,Stephen Clarke added the conversion. Stephen Newell put Seaton further ahead when he won the race to a kick through from Brett Symes, again Clarke added the conversion to give Seaton a 12-0 half time lead. In an end to end second half Egremont fought back well and scored 2 tries to trail 10-12. Scott Rooke then had a try disallowed for a forward pass before Seaton clinched victory with a well worked try that saw Matthew Haigh burst through the line to score with Clarke adding his 3rd conversion.
