6 Glasson 16. This was a hard fought derby battle with good defence on show from both sides. Glasson eventually broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with a converted try and took a 6-0 lead into the break. A Seaton penalty from the restart gifted Glasson field position and they increased their lead with an unconverted try out wide. More excellent defence from both sides meant scoring opportunities were kept to a minimum but Seaton gave their selves a chance when Kieran McGee crashed over and with Stephen Clarke adding the conversion it was all to play for at 10-6.Glasson sealed the victory with a converted try in the dying seconds. |
