Seaton 10  v Wath Brow 10.      
 
An exciting game to open the season saw limited scoring opportunities due to excellent defence by both teams. W.Brow scored first before Scott Rooke put Seaton back into the game superbly collecting a neat kick from Gary Taylor. In the second half Seatons forwards made good yards and Stephen Newell crashed over with Stephen Clarke adding the conversion to give Seaton a 10-6 lead. Joseph Langcake and his opposite number were sin binned for fighting and from the resulting penalty Wath Brow levelled out wide to complete the scoring.
