Seaton 10 v Wath Brow 28.

Seaton put up a brave performance before going down to a big Wath Brow side. Both teams started well and the opening quarter was dominated by brutal defence. Seaton began throwing the ball about and Shane Ackerley and Dan Watson both made good breaks before they took a 2-0 lead with a Johnathan Richardson penalty. Brow came back and had a good spell but scrambling defence from Seaton kept them out. Brows pressure eventually told and they scored 2 tries on the stroke of half time to lead 8-2.
The second half started the same as the first before Wath Brow started taking control opening up a 22-8 lead. On the back of good yards from Carl Stephenson,Lee Dixon and Jordan Tinkler Seaton came back and scored the try of the game with James Wilson finishing off a move involving most of the team. Wath Brow scored next before Seaton had the final say when Tinkler burst through several tackles to score.
Despite getting beat this was a great performance from the full Seaton team.
