Kells 22 - 16 Seaton
A very entertaining game that saw the lead change hands numerous times.
Kells scored early but missed the conversion, Seaton playing up the
slope struck
back with an unconverted try by Dan Watson after quick hands put him
through. Seaton's loose forward Joe Quail scored next with four Kells
defenders on
him he managed to make the line. Jon Richardson kicked the goal and
Seaton
looked like pushing on for more, Kells withstood the pressure and
scored under
the sticks just on half time. In the second half Kells struck twice
through
their stand-off and loose forward stretching the lead to 22 - 10.
Seaton
were not finished as they struck back with a fine solo try by Callum
Phillips,
Richardson converted to bring the scores back to 22 - 16. The final 10
minutes saw Seaton lay siege to the Kells try line, but brave and
determined
defence by Kells won the day.
A fine game of Rugby league played in a good spirit.
