The first quarter of this game was dominated by bruising defence from
both sides. Seaton eventually broke the dead lock with a brilliant try -
fast hands involving most of the team saw the ball moved across the line
and Johnathan Richardson went over in the corner. Just before half time
Seaton scored another excellent effort this time from inside their own
half. Callum Phillips put Shane Ackerley into a gap and the full back
sprinted 20m before drawing his opposite number and feeding the
supporting Daniel Watson who went on to score. The second half began the
same as the first with some big hits going in from both sides. The game
was end to end and both teams had tries disallowed before Seaton scored
to clinch the points. John Todd made an excellent break and from the play
the ball the ball was moved wide and Shane Armstrong burst through the
line to end an exciting game.
