A very physical encounter saw Broughton come away with the points. Jay Rossi opened the scoring to give Broughton a 4-0 lead before James Wilson levelled the scores with a try out wide. After good yards from Carl Stephenson and John Todd, Nathan Kirkbride exploited a gap to give Seaton a 8-4 lead. James Wilson scored his second try after collecting a towering kick from Jon Richardson and racing over the line.Broughtons Cory Bouch scored 2 tries and a conversion to give Broughton a 14-12 lead at the break. After good work from Kirkbride,Stephen Newell regained Seatons lead before Sam Wilson scored and  Bouch converted to give Broughton a 20-16 lead. A penalty try extended Broughtons lead and then  Liam McAvoy and Jay Rossi completed the scoring to end an exciting game.
