Seaton 18 Egremont 30. Seaton produced a brilliant first half performance to take an 18-4 lead against a big Egremont side. John Richardson opened the scoring for the home side with a great try converted from the touch line by Stephen Clarke. Egremont pulled a try back and then a good break from Nathan Kirkbride saw the supporting Richardson collect and go over for his second, Clarke added the conversion. Hard yards from Seatons forwards gave them good field position and they forced a goal line drop out from which Matt Parker collected and scored a spectacular try converted by Clarke. The second half started with some ferocious defence by both sides before some good running by Leeds Rhinos bound Jarrod Stewart saw Egremont score 2 quick tries to get back in the game at 16-18. With 8 minutes left Seaton still led but Egremont finished the stronger and 3 late tries saw them collect the points and end an excellent game of rugby league.
