Brutal defence by both sides dominated the opening quarter before Broughton broke the deadlock with a converted try. A similar effort gave Broughton a 12-0 half time lead. Seaton began the second half well and forced a goal line drop out but didnt capitalise on it. A couple of quick tries took the game away from Seaton though they deserve a lot of credit for sticking at it and John Richardson and John Todd both scored tries for Seaton before Broughton regained control and ran in another 3 tries.
